Selena Gomez’s performance as “Mabel Mora” in “Only Murders in the Building” earned her a Golden Globe nomination. The nominees for the 80th annual Golden Globe Awards announced on December 12 at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California, hosted by Mayan Lopez and Selenis Leyva.

Gomez got her start on “Barney & Friends,” but now she’s a massive Disney Channel star with several successful songs and a critically acclaimed TV series. Her first Golden Globe nomination comes from her role in“Only Murders in the Building” since her breakout performance in “Spring Breakers.”

Other nominees for the 2023 Golden Globes are Quinta Brunson (Abbott Elementary), Kaley Cuoco (The Flight Attendant), Jenna Ortega (Wednesday), and Jean Smart (Hacks).
