Becky G and soccer player Sebastian Lletget, who have been together for six years, recently announced their engagement. She captioned the photos of the proposal on the beach with, “Our spot forever.”
Becky G and Lletget have been quite open about their relationship on their respective social media platforms.
On Friday, the 30-year-old Latin singer/songwriter took to Twitter to share the happy news that her soccer player partner of six years had proposed. The actress Becky G was still hesitant to date Scott’s co-star despite his best attempts to win her over. Scott could snag the date he sought after showing Becky G the video of himself.
“On our first date we talked about everything under the moon, literally. I remember specifically stuffing my face with sushi and talking about our dreams, goals and visions for where we see ourselves, everything we talked about on that date we are now doing or working towards. Crazy how fast time has flown by. I adore that you are a man of your word.” Becky wrote.
Soon after they shared the news of their engagement, their loyal following shared their joy. Immediately after the LA Galaxy player’s proposal, the “Fulanito” singer, then 25 years old, shared a photo of herself with her now-fiancé, then 30 years old.
Before joining FC Dallas, Lletget played for the LA Galaxy and the New England Revolution in Major League Soccer. He is a current member of the US national soccer team.
